In this post, we'll show you 2 recipes on how to make protein gummies — one as a simple two-ingredient recipe and the other with some more optional ingredients.

Recipe: Homemade Protein Gummies


Ingredients:
1 scoop protein powder (whey, casein or plant-based)
1/4 cup fruit juice or water

OR ...

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of fruit juice (your choice of flavor)
  • 1/4 cup of unflavored gelatin
  • 1/4 cup of protein powder (your choice of flavor)

*Optional: food coloring, honey, Greek yogurt, etc. for flavor/texture

Instructions:

  1. In a saucepan, heat the fruit juice over medium heat until it comes to a boil.
  2. Remove from heat and whisk in the gelatin until it has completely dissolved.
  3. Add the protein powder and whisk until fully combined.
  4. Pour the mixture into silicone molds (use fun shapes for added appeal!) and place in the refrigerator to set for at least an hour.
  5. Once set, carefully remove the gummies from the molds and serve.

Preparation time: 10 minutes

Cooking time: 5 minutes

Serving size: 12-15 gummies

Tips:

  • Use silicone molds for easy removal and to achieve fun shapes.
  • Add some sugar-free sprinkles for decoration.
  • Store in the refrigerator for a cool and refreshing treat.
